Looking for where to test drive a Geely in Paris produces a shorter answer than expected: a single address across the twenty arrondissements, on rue de Bercy. The four other regional sales points sit in the suburbs, from Vélizy to Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône.

The network is expanding fast, which makes the figure perishable. The manufacturer’s locator showed 42 sales points on 28 August 2026, and 46 nine days later.

In short:

  1. Five Geely sales points cover Île-de-France as of 6 September 2026, out of a national network of 46 addresses
  2. Only one sits inside Paris itself, at 246 rue de Bercy in the 12th arrondissement; the others are in Colombes, Fontenay-sous-Bois, Vélizy-Villacoublay and Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône
  3. Three models are open to test drives, the Starray EM-i, the E5 and the E2, the latter still offered on pre-order at €20,990
  4. All five addresses belong to the same group, which the official locator never names in its listings

The five places to test drive a Geely in Île-de-France

The data below comes from the official Geely Auto France locator, checked on 6 September 2026. Opening hours are those shown on each listing, and not all of them detail Saturdays.

Sales pointAddressDépartementHours shown on the locator
Geely Paris 12246 rue de Bercy, 75012 ParisParis9am to 5pm
Geely Colombes116 avenue Henri Barbusse, 92700 ColombesHauts-de-Seine9am to 5pm
Geely Fontenay189 avenue du Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny, 94120 Fontenay-sous-BoisVal-de-MarneMonday to Friday, 8am to 6pm
Geely Vélizy1 chemin des Charbonniers, 78140 Vélizy-VillacoublayYvelines9am to 5pm
Geely Pontoise95 rue de Paris, 95310 Saint-Ouen-l’AumôneVal-d’OiseMonday to Friday 8am to 12pm and 1.30pm to 7pm, Saturday 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm

One detail in that table matters to anyone working weekdays: only one of the five sites shows Saturday hours on its official listing, the one in Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône. The three addresses listed as 9am to 5pm name no days at all, which leaves the question open and justifies a phone call before driving across the region.

Geographic coverage itself holds up: roughly one site per département, with no real blind spot. The longest trip from central Paris remains Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône, some thirty kilometres away via the A15.

Inside Paris itself, a single address

Wording matters here. Test driving a Geely “in Paris” in the strict sense means going to rue de Bercy, in the 12th arrondissement, a short walk from Gare de Lyon.

That scarcity is normal for a brand that launched in 2026. It mostly reflects the constraint the manufacturer places on its dealers: an exclusive showroom of at least 250 m², with no cohabitation allowed with BYD, MG or Chery. Finding 250 m² of showroom floor inside Paris is expensive, which pushes the network towards the suburbs by default.

A regional buyer who wants to compare two models on the same day is therefore better served by a suburban address, where display space is larger and demonstration fleets are deeper. The same logic applies to any Geely dealer in the national network, whose footprint follows the same peripheral pattern.

Three models open to test drives, one not yet delivered

The manufacturer’s booking form lists three cars. Their profiles have nothing in common, and the third one is a special case.

ModelTypeWLTP rangeStarting price
Starray EM-iPlug-in hybrid SUV1,055 km combined, 136 km electric on the Max+ only€34,990
E5Fully electric SUV475 km€37,990
E2Electric compactup to 345 km€20,990

The E2 appears in the test drive list while its product page still points to a pre-order button. The launch offer attached to it runs until 15 September 2026 and is capped at the first 1,000 orders: €1,000 off, bringing the price to €19,990 instead of €20,990, plus leasing from €189 per month.

A E2 test drive in September 2026 is therefore closer to a discovery session than to an immediate purchase decision, since the car has to be ordered before it can be delivered. It remains the only way to judge the cabin of an electric compact whose front boot is rated at 70 litres.

How a Geely test drive is booked

Official booking runs through the form at geelyauto.fr/geely-testdrive. Its sequence is fixed: model selection, driver contact details, then country, city and sales point.

The form offers no time slots. It forwards the request to the chosen dealer, who then calls back to set a date, adding a round trip to the process. Calling the dealership directly saves that step, and above all allows the one question that decides everything: which trim is available to drive that day.

The regional distributor also runs its own test drive booking, which reaches the same destination. Both routes end with the same sales team.

The five sales points belong to the same group

The official locator names its entries “Geely + city” and stops there. No company name appears, which gives the misleading impression of five independent operators across Île-de-France.

The cross-check is straightforward. The five addresses and five phone numbers on the locator match exactly those published on the location pages of the Como group, the only distributor for the brand in the region. Colombes, Fontenay, Pontoise, Vélizy and Bastille are listed there as five of its sites.

That changes something concrete for a buyer: negotiating at two different regional “dealerships” means negotiating twice with the same group. Real comparison points sit outside the region, with the brand’s other distributors, as detailed in our network comparison on where to buy a Geely EX5 in France.

The same group also distributes smart, a joint venture owned in equal shares by Mercedes-Benz and Geely Holding since 2019. Its regional workshops therefore already service electric cars engineered by the group that builds the Starray and the E5, which no other distributor in Île-de-France can claim.

What a test drive is actually for

Thirty minutes behind the wheel will say nothing about the reliability of a brand that arrived a year ago. It does settle three questions that spec sheets leave open.

The first is the real electric range of the Starray EM-i, and it is the main trap in the range. The 136 km headline figure applies only to the Max+ trim, priced at €38,990. Source: the road test published by L’Argus, which notes that the Pro and Max trims share an 18.4 kWh battery rated at 83 km, against 29.8 kWh on the Max+ alone.

The charging gap follows the same line: 30 kW sustained on the first two trims, 60 kW on the third. On a daily suburban commute, that is the difference between a top-up that fits into a lunch break and one that does not. Asking for the exact trim of the demonstration car before getting in avoids judging one car on another car’s performance.

The second question concerns the E5’s fast charging, quoted at 20 minutes from 30 to 80 %. That kind of figure depends on battery temperature and is hard to verify on a short drive, but the power rating of the dealership’s own charger already gives an order of magnitude. The topic applies to the whole category, as the gap between official data and everyday use shows on electric car range.

The third concerns the workshop rather than the car. Working on a high-voltage circuit requires an individual certification, under articles R4141-13, R4141-14 and R4544-3 of the French labour code. No distributor publishes how many certified technicians each site employs, even though the question is pressing on a network where a good share of the addresses opened between June and August 2026. It is a question to ask in person, during the visit.

After the drive, demonstration cars are the only discount around

The two models behave very differently once the test drive is over.

The Starray EM-i already has a demonstration car market. On 24 August 2026, 54 listings for that model showed under 10 km on the odometer, between €29,190 and €39,840, at an average of €33,568. The cheapest, a Max+, came in 27 % below the list price of its own trim. One point to know before signing: on those cars, the 8-year warranty runs from first registration, not from delivery.

The E5 is in the opposite position. No listing for that model appeared on AutoScout24 France on the same date, new or used, and no broker carries the brand. The importer’s price is therefore the only price in existence, as confirmed by the purchase channel comparison set out in our guide on how to buy a Geely Starray in Europe.

That leaves leasing. The manufacturer lists the Starray EM-i at €299 per month and the E5 at the same entry rate, over 48 months and 40,000 km, with metallic paint pushing those figures to €307 and €316. Such offers are judged on total cost including the initial payment, not on the monthly figure alone, a calculation detailed in our analysis of the Geely Starray dealer network and its negotiating room.

One last figure worth keeping in mind when picking a test drive address: the network was targeting 70 sales points by the end of 2026, and showed 46 in early September. The five regional sites will therefore not stay alone for long, and competition between distributors in the area will start the day a second group opens there. The group has also been named by the trade press on Zeekr, the premium brand owned by the same shareholder, whose regional network currently amounts to a single dealership run by another distributor: the channels available to buy a Zeekr in Paris follow a very different logic.

Frequently asked questions

Where can you test drive a Geely in Paris?

Only one Geely address sits inside Paris itself: Geely Paris 12, at 246 rue de Bercy in the 12th arrondissement. Four other sales points cover the wider Île-de-France region, in Colombes (92), Fontenay-sous-Bois (94), Vélizy-Villacoublay (78) and Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône (95). All five were listed on the official Geely Auto France locator on 6 September 2026, out of a national network of 46 sales points.

Which Geely models can be test driven in Île-de-France?

The official Geely Auto France booking form offers three models: the Starray EM-i plug-in hybrid SUV, the fully electric E5 SUV, and the E2 electric compact. The E2 is the odd one out: its product page still leads to a pre-order button, even though the car already appears in the list of vehicles open to test drives.

How do you book a Geely test drive?

Booking goes through the manufacturer’s form at geelyauto.fr/geely-testdrive. It asks for the model, the driver’s contact details, then the country, the city and finally the sales point. The request is passed on to the chosen dealer, who calls back to arrange a slot. Calling the dealership directly is still possible and skips that round trip.

Does the Geely Starray EM-i really cover 136 km on electric power?

Not on every trim. The 136 km WLTP figure applies only to the Max+, priced at €38,990 and fitted with a 29.8 kWh battery. The Pro (€34,990) and Max (€36,990) trims share an 18.4 kWh battery rated at 83 km, with charging capped at 30 kW instead of 60 kW. Checking the trim of the demonstration car before drawing any conclusion about range is the first precaution to take.

Who operates the Geely sales points in Île-de-France?

All five regional sites are operated by the Como group, the only distributor for the brand in the region. The manufacturer’s locator does not say so: it names its entries “Geely + city” without ever crediting the group behind them. The link is confirmed by the distributor’s own location pages, which list the same addresses and the same phone numbers.

Can you buy the car you have just test driven?

On the Starray EM-i, yes. That model already feeds a demonstration car market: 54 listings under 10 km were recorded on 24 August 2026, between €29,190 and €39,840, at an average price of €33,568. On the E5, no: AutoScout24 France showed no listing at all for that model on the same date, new or used.
